Description
Petalac Kitten Milk Replacer can be fed to orphan kittens from birth until they show interest in solid food.
Feeding directions:
Please refer to package insert for mixing direction and feeding guide. Stimulate kittens to defecate and urinate after each feed. To avoid dehydration during periods of hot weather, give kittens a drink of pre-boiled water between feeds. Always offer kittens drinking water once their eyes are open and they are mobile. Always consult veterinarian for particular advice about caring for your breed of kitten.
Growth: Kitten body weight should increase by 10 to 15 gram per day. Weight kitten regularly to verify weight gain and to determine the volume of milk to feed. Overfeeding milk cause diarrhea.
Weaning: When kittens are about 4 weeks old, they should show interest in solid food. Once they start to eat solid food, continue to increase the solids and reduce the milk until they are fully weaned at about 8 weeks.
